The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed in regards to the high amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to sassa status reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The company issue made for intervention encounters a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service SRD point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to allow the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
